Buntingford First School opened its doors for the first time in September 2023. Since then, we have been busy growing the school, last year we expanded to two forms of entry in our Reception and we are now looking for another KS1 teacher as this cohort filter upwards.
We are looking for an outstanding teacher, who has high aspirations of pupils and is reflective, committed and passionate about children’s learning. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school as we continue on our growth journey. We can offer a child-centred environment with brand-new facilities – please do come and visit to see for yourself!

Declaration of criminal offences
The trust is required to give you the opportunity to voluntarily declare convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings that are not ‘protected’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020). You will be provided with a criminal self-declaration form by the school if you are shortlisted for the post. All posts in schools are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If you are appointed you will be required to have an up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. The existence of a criminal background does not automatically mean that you cannot be appointed but it may do so.
