Official Groundbreaking Ceremony

Despite the wet autumnal weather, Monday 21 November 2022 saw the official groundbreaking ceremony take place for Buntingford First School. Headteacher, Vikki Johnston was joined by Deputy CEO for Scholars' Education Trust and BFS Executive Headteacher Matt Gauthier, alongside Claire Robins OBE CEO and Hazel Wale COO Scholars' Education Trust for this momentous occasion.

Mr Terry Douris, Hertfordshire County Council lead for Education, Libraries and Life Long Learning opened proceedings, followed by David Rowsell, Area Director for Morgan Sindall.

Representatives of Scholars' Education Trust, HCC and Morgan Sindall were joined by Mayor of Buntingford, Councillor Duncan Wallace for the official groundbreaking to celebrate the first day of construction for the project.
