Nursery Uniform
It is our nursery policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school.
Our policy on nursery uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:
- promotes a sense of pride in the school;
- engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school;
- is practical and smart;
- identifies the children with the school and sets the tone for education;
- makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
- is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money by most parents;
- is designed with health and safety in mind;
- addresses any appropriate equality, diversity and inclusion needs.
Water Bottle
Please send your child into school with a full, named bottle of water every day.
Book Bag
Children will be able to borrow story books from our library. Please encourage your child to re-tell the story, predict events and answer questions about the story. Please ensure books are well looked after. School book bags are available from many retailers and our school uniform providers.
Please ensure that all items of uniform and equipment are clearly labelled.
Nursery School Uniform
Nursery Girls’ Uniform – Winter
- Light blue polo shirt with school badge (available from Stevensons) or plain light blue polo shirt (available from most supermarkets)
- Navy sweat cardigan with school badge (available exclusively from Stevensons)
- Navy sportwear on bottom half e.g. jogging bottoms/shorts/leggings suitable for being active. Jeans are not suitable active sportswear
- Sensible black shoes or trainers suitable for being active
Nursery Girls’ Uniform – Summer
As above with the additional optional items:
- Light Blue / White gingham dress
- Black school shoes or white, tan or black sensible (closed in) sandals
Nursery Boys’ Uniform – Winter and summer
- Light blue polo shirt with school badge (available exclusively from Stevensons) or plain light blue polo shirt (available from most supermarkets)
- Navy crew sweatshirt with school badge (available exclusively from Stevensons)
- Navy sportwear on bottom half e.g. jogging bottoms/shorts suitable for being active. Jeans are not suitable active sportswear
- Sensible black shoes or trainers suitable for being active
Nursery Boys’ and Girls’ PE Kit
As children are already in sportswear on the bottom half they will not require a separate P.E kit.
